Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy, and expensive and you probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Great for price

Preheats fast, cooks very evenly. Love the flat cooktop grates. I wish the burners were spaced far enough apart for me to be able to put 4 pots/skillets/or pans on at once on the cooktop.

Stay away from any Whirlpool Golds - very poor quality

Submitted by Whirlpool Disappointed - 11/17/2016

I built a house 3 years ago and selected Whirlpool Gold suite, gas range, refrigerator with French doors, dishwasher and microwave thinking they were the best in class. In the past 3 months or so, I had to repair the ice maker, dishwasher, and the touchpad controls of the range oven is no longer working - and the warranty is only for 1 year. Mind you these appliances were slightly used as there only 2 adults and 1 child in the house. I will never, ever buy whirlpool brand ever and have told everyone and will continue to tell everyone of the quality of this brand.

Bad choice, worst oven I have ever bought.

Submitted by Patti - 11/14/2016

This was an "upgraded" choice with my builder, Meritage, in 2013. In the first year I had to reorder the cast iron grates 3 times because they wobbled. The cleaning system doesn't work. Stove only gets clean on the bottom. Sides never get clean. Recently having problems heating the oven, put it on rapid preheat and after an hour only reached 220 degrees. The warming drawer takes an hour to heat up. The electric panel bubbled in the first year and the company refused to fix, said it wasn't under warranty. I was told this was the first complaint of it's kind but refused to acknowledge it was a manufacturing defect. Will never purchase an appliance from Whirlpool again.

Wrose Oven I ever purchased

Submitted by Ofer - 9/23/2016

We purchase this oven back in March 2015. The oven came with a defective front panel. the company send a technician who came and change the panel. Few months later the Panel became bubbly. When I called in I was told that Whirlpool only covers cosmetics defects for 30 days. The bubbly panel is due to bad design where the heat is causing the bubbling to happen. Also if we cook on more than two burners at the same time the Stove starts to beep.

Some heating problems.

Doesn't seem to be much variation in the RFront Med-High to Med-Low range on stove. Drawer on bottom needs 2 hands to glide it back evenly into place.

I'm finally cooking with gas!

Submitted by Bill - 3/12/2016

We've been wanting a gas range for years. Cooking on an electric range doesn't compare with the efficiency of gas. When you put something on to boil it takes a fraction of the time compared to an electric burner. When you turn a burner down you get an immediate response unlike the glass top electric stoves. This stove top is also much safer than the glass top as pots don't spin and slide. We've only had this Whirlpool range for a couple of weeks but we love it.

Review

Submitted by Trailblazer202 - 2/6/2016

Burning off the new wasn't pleasant. Two large cooking grates on top are heavy making cleaning a chore, 3 would be better. Stove drawer could use better guides. Oval center burner would be better for grill accessory. Switch from electric to gas was a great decision. Glass in door, oven light with switch, large oven space, stove top cooking times, broiler, all an A+. Still out is baking and cleaning oven ease. Will add an interior thermometer to check actual temp to stove display. Had it a month and loving it.

We're very pleased

Submitted by Bill - 2/5/2016

We replaced a 15-year-old gas range with this one in December 2015. The obvious advantages of newer technology did not disappoint - my wife is a compulsive baker and is known for her cakes; the convection feature and improved temperature accuracy have really been great for her already great reputation. The folding half-rack in the oven is probably one of the greatest inventions of the age - why didn't I think of that? The fifth burner is very useful for us - we have a large local family and family gatherings are improved with this addition; also the low-heat burner is very helpful in many things we do. We don't have to turn it on and off to maintain very low temps when needed, like marinating brats in beer. We read some reviews during our purchase decision time noting the black surface burner finish was "hard to clean". We'd comment thusly; yes, black shiny surfaces ARE harder to clean. Ever had a black car? But the contrast in the kitchen from white and stainless is refreshing, and there are numerous products available which clean this cooktop quickly and well. We sure wouldn't let that be a negative. The griddle is a nice touch especially since it mounts so securely in place. You can flip stuff with no worries it will head for the floor! We'd like to have had a new broiler pan which you didn't provide, but we salvaged the one from the old range so we're OK - just a word to the wise!

Cooking with Gas!

Submitted by hmhparis - 10/12/2015

We purchased this, our first gas stove, a month ago. Not only does it look sharp in our recently renovated kitchen, it is awesome to cook on. It starts easily and; has our meals cooking in no time. Who would have ever thought one could be so excited over a stove. Both my wife and I not only like to look at it (looks like a piece of art in our kitchen); but we both are taking every opportunity to cook on it.

Solid stove

Submitted by Preston - 9/17/2015

Have had this stove for several months, professionally installed. The top burners are great: Easy and accurate temperature control and easily cleaned. The oven has taken some getting used to as it doesn't seem to heat very evenly when not using the convection function and the broiler is difficult to use. I am willing to blame this on my inexperience with gas ovens and it having a larger interior space. My only complaint would be that the oven must not be well insulated as it heats up the exterior surfaces quickly and throws more heat into the room than my old oven did.

Okay gas range

Submitted by Susa - 9/16/2015

Decent enough basic stove and oven unit. The front of the unit tends to get hot. The burners and grates on top are excellent. The oven is average. The appearance is quite good from a distance (we have the aluminum) but on closer examination it looks a bit flimsy.

Dissappointed- Do not buy!

Submitted by Jennifer - 8/20/2015

I purchased this range in June of 2013 for my home that was under construction and due to be completed in September of that year. Unfortunately my house was not completed until much later and I did not move in till January of 2014. So stove was 6 monthes old before it was used the 1st time. When the oven had been used for about 6 monthes it started shutting itself off. The panel would show the temperature as what it was set at so I had no idea until I went to remove my cold uncooked food. This happened periodically until March of 2015 when the electronic control board went out completely. I had it replaced the following month and thought it was an isolated incident until this week when it has started shutting itself off again. For the price of the service call and the part I could have purchased a new stove that would still be functioning correctly.

A Competent Range

Submitted by Carla - 7/17/2015

This came as part of new construction. It's fine. Pros: decent burners with good output, oven works, well..like an oven. Cons: given the width, using the fifth burner means you can't use the others. The cook top grates are surprisingly rough, making them difficult to clean. They tear up sponges - a brush is the only thing that cleans without leaving debris behind. And, for a stainless steel appliance, using black metal for the cooktop was a really cheap move. Black is impossible to keep clean, no matter how fanatical one is. Stainless would have been a much smarter move. I would not buy for that reason alone, will likely swap this unit out.
